Eccup

Our first adventure starts at eccup reservoir this is a 2 hour trek round the reservoir, the path leading down to eccup is a rite of way off a normal street (Alwoodley lane Leeds) this path leads down to a Hansel and Gretel house see pics lol, from there we go left onto the path round the reservoir to your right is the enchanted emerald forest protected by a small moat, eventually u come to dam it self, there are some good views of the reservoir and valley below on opposite side.

From here u leave the reservoir and head for the long lane first passing the wicked witches tree which she burnt with lightning. The lane is long and straight but this is where u should look to the sky’s cos this is where the “Red Kite” lives the one we photographed had a four to five foot wing span and i was a bit worried actually as it circled above lol, we even picked Sam up incase he got Eaton.

At the end of the lane is the secret garden gate locked of course but should lead to most beautiful places u can’t imagine, then just up the hill are the ancient ruins of a lost civilisation see pics, from here its over styles and over fields they where very muddy the day we went but we managed to get out alive, on the final leg now around the back of the enchanted emerald forest protected by a fence this time, the day we went there was some good cloud formation see pics, we followed the fence back to Hansel and Gretel house and then back to the path leading to the street, against all the odds we had survived and are mission complete we went home for T.
